Spotted: An app that lets you stream full episodes of CW shows (think Gossip Girl, 90210, Vampire Diaries, etc.) to your iPhone. Reality: Just like Gossip Girl itself, it’s more flair, hot girls and drama than it’s really worth.
I’ll be honest here, I’ve watched my share of Gossip Girl episodes (all of them if we’re going to be really honest) and it’s a pretty terrible show. Still, I watch and I’m sure there are others out there too (anyone? anyone?). The CW Full Episodes app for iPhone gives you the latest 6 episodes of all CW shows in streaming fashion (Wi-Fi or 3G) and offers clips, photos, interviews, schedules and more. Which all sounds very good! But the app crashes a little too much and I wish you could tap into the full slate of episodes for each show (cause season one of Gossip Girl was actually good!). Free.
