Along with the announcement of all manner of Marvel release dates, we now know when to expect some of Disney’s most anticipated new titles, including the much-longed-for sequels The Incredibles 2 and Toy Story 4.
Variety has the whole list (and it includes all those Marvel movies mentioned in the post linked above), but here are some other highlights:
Cars 3 will be out June 6, 2017.
Coco, Pixar’s Day of the Dead-inspired tale, will be out Nov. 22, 2017; the release date isn’t news, but this “final title” is official now. Same deal with Disney animation Gigantic, a retelling of the Jack and the Beanstalk story, which will be out March 9, 2018.
“Untitled Disney Fairy Tale (Live Action)” will be out Dec. 22, 2017, but don’t get that one (could it be Beauty and the Beast, originally announced as a March 2017 release, or something else?) confused with the many other live-action fairy tales in the pipeline, which are currently slated for Nov. 2, 2018; March 29, 2019; and Nov. 8, 2019. (Those likely won’t be all of ’em before the popcorn dust clears, so prepare thyself.)
Toy Story 4 is slated for June 15, 2018, a full year later than originally announced, and we’ll have to wait even longer for The Incredibles 2—it’s not due until June 21, 2019.
