Here’s one good reason to see Alice In Wonderland in UK cinemas: Screenings will be accompanied by the new Doctor Who trailer (premiering tomorrow on British television) in glorious 3D. Avatar, you’ve already been replaced in our hearts.
The trailer doesn’t mean that the new season is in 3D (sadly), but the BBC statement gives us hope for the future:
Doctor Who is the appropriate vehicle for 3D. It just fits. It’s a great way to introduce and showcase the new Doctor to younger viewers.
Yes! It definitely fits. Here’s hoping the technology makes it to televisions in time for the show’s sixth season… and that BBC America somehow gets the ad budget to run the 3D trailer in US theaters, too.
