Check out the trailer for Doomsday Book, a three-part apocalyptic-movie anthology from Korean directors Kim Jee-woon (I Saw The Devil) and Yim Pil-sung.
According to Slashfilm, the first of the three films is Heaven’s Creation, (directed by Kim Jee-woon) which is a story about the praying robot you can see in the above trailer. The second is The New Generation (directed by Yim Pil-sung) a film shot from the POV of a boy zombie. And lastly, there’s The Christmas Gift (which was supposed to be directed by Han Jae-rim, but was instead shot by the above two directors in collaboration. It’s an end of the world musical.
The trailer looks gorgeous — fingers crossed there’ll be more screenings stateside.
