Dreame’s L40 Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop makes floor care easy with 25,000Pa of suction and a dock that does almost all the rest of the work for you. The L40 Ultra Gen 2 is able to both vacuum and mop at the same time, has an extendable side brush as well as an extendable mop that are capable of reaching down into corners and along the edges of your baseboards, and the mop pads lift by 10.5mm when the robot determines there’s carpet under it. The all-in-one PowerDock empties the robot’s dustbin, washes and dries its mop heads, and refills its water tank, giving you up to 100 days of completely hands-off cleaning.

A robot vacuum and mop with a self-cleaning dock and extending brushes
The L40 Ultra Gen 2 was made to handle all your cleaning needs while requiring as little assistance as possible. You get great suction power, double spinning mops, extending arms to help reach tight spots, advanced smart obstacle avoidance, and an automatic self-cleaning dock, all controllable via the Dreame app or voice commands.
The sixth-generation TurboForce motor gives the L40 Ultra Gen 2 25,000Pa of Vormax suction. That is enough to pull up embedded dirt, heavy pet hair, and even heavy items like cat litter from carpets. The robot also increases suction automatically when it senses carpet underneath, so you don’t have to adjust anything to give your rugs a deeper clean.
The DuoScrub mopping system uses two rotating mop heads to clean up dried spills and daily messes on hard surfaces. Once it hits a rug, the pads raise 10.5mm off of your carpet to protect it from getting wet. And if you decide you just need to vacuum, you can simply detach the mop heads. The L40 Ultra Gen 2’s side brush also expands outward to pick up debris in tight spaces, and the MopExtend RoboSwing mop arm swings outward to clean along baseboards, so you don’t end up with streaks of dirt running along your walls.
LiDAR mapping lets the robot map your house with high accuracy. The Dreame app lets you store different maps for different floors and mark areas where you’d prefer the robot not to clean, such as places where children may play. Along with creating a cleaning schedule, selecting the desired suction and water level, and remotely starting a cleaning cycle from anywhere with your phone or tablet, it also supports voice commands with major virtual assistants.
As for maintenance, the PowerDock does most of the work. After each use, it empties the robot’s dustbin into its own dust bag. Then it washes and dries the mop heads using heat drying to eliminate odors, and it fills the robot’s water reservoir so that you don’t have to touch it for up to 100 days.
This model is ideal for pet owners. Because of the high suction power, the robot is easily able to suck pet hair from carpets and rugs, and since the PowerDock cleans and maintains the robot after each use, pet hair doesn’t accumulate inside the dustbin over time. Dreame’s L40 Ultra Gen 2 Robot Vacuum and Mop combines a robust suction cleaner that can clean along edges and handle most maintenance on its own.
