The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI is a robotic window cleaner with an automatic Self-Cleaning Station that washes the mop pads between cycles. You can run multiple panes without rinsing the pads by hand. The W3 OMNI uses Vortex Wash Technology to refresh the mop pads during operation. A three-nozzle wide-angle spray system also distributes water evenly across the glass. WIN-SLAM 5.0 path planning runs through eight cleaning modes built for different window shapes, sizes, and layouts.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI is currently $566 on Amazon, down from its $700 list price for a 19% discount.

A reliable window-mounted window-washing robot

The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI mounts directly to a window pane using a suction system. The robot remains attached throughout the cleaning cycle. The 12-Stage Protection System backs up the main suction with an emergency tether, battery, and motor redundancies, and a failsafe that keeps the robot on the glass even if the main vacuum drops out. This allows you to use the robot on exterior windows, balcony glass, or third-story panes without worrying about it falling off mid-cycle.

If you’ve tried to clean a second-floor window from the outside, you know how quickly the ladder, the squeegee, the bucket of cleaner, and the trip back into the house for paper towels turn a 10-minute job into an afternoon project. The W3 OMNI does the actual scrubbing while you do something else. The cycle includes a spray, a mop, and a wipe pass on each window. You can start the robot on a tall window or a sliding glass door and walk away.

WIN-SLAM 5.0 path planning maps the window edges and runs through one of eight cleaning modes depending on the shape. TruEdge Technology reaches within millimeters of the window frame. This picks up the dust and water marks that collect along the corners and the bottom edge, where you’d otherwise need to scrub by hand. The three-nozzle wide-angle spray system also mists the full pane in one pass rather than concentrating moisture in the center.

The Self-Cleaning Station is the main upgrade over older window robots. The dock washes the mop pads automatically between cleaning cycles. This keeps the pads fresh during longer sessions across multiple windows in a row. Dirty pads are also the main reason streaks appear at the end of a manual window-cleaning routine. Vortex Wash Technology refreshes the pads mid-session, keeping the robot’s cleaning performance on your dirtiest pane.

The ECOVACS WINBOT W3 OMNI is the brand’s flagship window-cleaning robot. The Self-Cleaning Station handles the rinse step that older window robots leave to the user. At $566 during this Prime Day sale, the $134 discount off the $700 list price comes out to a 19% cut. For homes with floor-to-ceiling glass, balcony doors, or hard-to-reach exterior windows, the deal brings the W3 OMNI into the same budget as a couple of years of professional window cleaning service.
