Examining the Real Science Behind Morgan‘s Science Fiction

Luke Scott’s Morgan wasn’t flawless, but it was gorgeously shot and (more intriguingly) raised some serious questions about artificial intelligence and what it means to be human. The film’s special features include a short doc that further investigates how real-life science could help us design the perfect human. (Whether it should, of course, is another question entirely.)

In addition to that featurette (titled Modified Organism: The Science Behind Morgan), the disc also includes Scott’s short film, Loom (an homage to his father Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner) and deleted scenes. Morgan comes to digital HD Fri/2 and to 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD December 13.
