In this short film, a teenage girl and her father hunt for precious materials on an alien world, hoping to bring back riches. But their prospecting dreams are put at risk when they encounter a bandit after their find.
Prospect was directed by Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell, and it transplants an Old West premise to the verdant forest of an alien world. The Hoh Rain Forest in Washington State provides the lush backdrop, but the real beauty here is in all of the procedures that father and daughter have in place to assure their survival, and the way it all unravels.
