Some early details about a couple of new Pocket PCs coming from Fujitsu-Siemens, one with both 802.11b and Bluetooth built-in, the other with just Bluetooth. Both of the new handhelds in the Pocket Loox 610 series will have 400MHz processors, 240×320 pixel LCD touchscreens, 64MB of Flash ROM, and CompactFlash and SD expansion slots. The main difference (besides in wireless) is that the dual-wireless one will have 128MB of RAM while the Bluetooth one will have just 64MB. The Pocket Loox line has been somewhat popular in Europe and Asia, but for whatever reason, Fujitsu-Siemens quickly abandoned the plans they made last year to enter the US market. They’ve waffled ever since about whether or not they would ever introduce the Pocket Loox in the States, so it seems unlikely that either of these Pocket PCs – neither of which has been officially announced yet – will ever be sold here.
