Fyrine IV from Enemy Mine is a tough planet, but the payoff for living there is a bigger understanding of our universe and overcoming anti-alien racism. Sure, it has meteor showers and you sleep on rocks. But there’s a variety of flora and fauna, including crazy animal life and rock pools. And more importantly, it has seasons. We actually see the planet’s climate change as Dennis Quaid and Louis Gossett Jr. hang out there.
