The Emmy nominations were finally announced this morning, and, unsurprisingly, Game of Thrones was honored a lot, including Best Drama. And here are all the other shows and categories you likely have a stake in.
Updated: Now that the full list is out, Game of Thrones is officially the most nominated, with 23 nominations. The biggest wins for genre fans included Mr. Robot (Best Drama) and Rami Malek (Lead Actor in a Drama), Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany (Lead Actress in a Drama), Sherlock (Limited Series) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Lead Actor in a Limited Series), and then Will Forte for Last Man on Earth (Lead Actor in a Comedy Series). Jessica Jones at least got recognized for its opening title sequence, and the usual suspects got their SFX, and make-up nods.
The full list of categories and nominees is 78 pages long, so we’ve cut it down to the biggest categories—or at least the biggest ones that include shows within io9’s wheelhouse. If you want the full list, it’s right here for your reading pleasure.
