Gateway’s coming out with a new desktop PC designed specifically for gaming. The 700X will have a 2.8GHz Pentium 4 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, a DVD burner, 19-inch monitor (it doesn’t say whether it’s an LCD or CRT), and Nvidia’s high-end GeForce FX 5900 Ultra graphics card. Looks like this is another part of Gateway’s plan to find its niche as it continues to struggle in the PC business.
