Want to spread some video love in the form of a GIF? Now it’s easier than ever thanks to a web app called GIFYouTube.

All you have to do is head over to the site, paste the URL of the YouTube video you want to GIF-ify, choose the start point and duration, wait a few seconds and… bingo! GIF party! Actually, it can be even easier than that. Add the word “gif” to the front of the youtube.com URL—making it gifyoutube.com instead—hit enter, and you can skip a few steps.

The output GIFs are just 480 x 270 pixels in size, and the site only seems to work consistently in Chrome. But those niggles aside, it’s a fun little tool to create GIFs with little effort. Go try it out. [GIFYouTube via Google+ via Engadget]
