The Idee brand is pretty much synonymous with stylish interiors here in Tokyo. They have a few shops, cafes and bars, they publish catalogues and magazines, and are usually closely associated with the annual Designers Week/Block events. One of the their shops, Sputnik Pad in Aoyama, deals with funkier designs, and it’s there that I spotted this remote-controlled table. It’s hard to imagine it smoothly carrying drinks around your home, but damn if it doesn’t look like something fun. Could you pass that to me, dear? Oh, where’s the remote?
