The GMKtec G3 Pro Mini PC is a small Windows desktop that fits behind a monitor or on a shelf without crowding the desk. It handles a normal office workload of web tabs, Office documents, email, calendar, and Teams or Zoom calls running side by side without slowdowns. Two HDMI outputs let you connect a pair of 4K monitors at once for spreadsheet work or reference layouts.

A mini PC that can handle the heavy lifting of a desktop
The G3 Pro is equipped with an Intel Core i3-10110U dual-core, four-thread processor with Hyper-Threading. It gets the job done for light productivity work, so you won’t have to worry about slowdown when using office software, surfing the web, or making video calls. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics can handle 4K video playback, but this CPU isn’t aimed at gaming, so don’t expect to play the latest and greatest titles here.
There are two SO-DIMM slots in the PC’s enclosure that come with 16GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory pre-installed. These can be upgraded to a maximum of 64GB should your workload require it. For storage, there is a single 512GB M.2 2242 SATA SSD. There is also an unoccupied M.2 2280 slot that can be used for a second NVMe drive up to 8TB.
Four USB 3.2 ports line up across the chassis for drives, keyboards, mice, and other peripherals, with two HDMI outputs for a dual 4K monitor setup. A 2.5 GbE Ethernet port moves large files across a fast home network at speeds standard gigabit Ethernet can’t reach. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 handle wireless connections to displays, headphones, controllers, and any other peripherals you’d rather pair than plug in.
Cooling is provided by means of a single copper heatpipe and an ultra-quiet fan. The cooling system includes adjustable power profiles. You get a choice about how much noise is generated based on the amount of work being performed. Memory and Storage are also easy to access. A quick-release latch replaces traditional screw fasteners. So, you can open your computer case in seconds rather than taking it apart completely.
At $290, down from the usual $460, the GMKtec G3 Pro Mini PC delivers a working Windows desktop with 16GB of memory, a 512GB SSD, dual 4K output, and 2.5GbE networking in a 260-gram chassis. For light productivity and home office use, the G3 Pro keeps a full Windows setup running in a chassis you barely notice.
