GMKtec’s G5S Mini PC brings a complete desktop experience into a very small package. The device is about 2.8 inches wide and tall and weighs around 7 ounces, yet it packs a powerful quad-core Intel Celeron N5095 CPU running up to 2.9GHz, 8GB of LPDDR4 memory, and a 128GB solid-state drive. Two HDMI 2.0 ports let you connect two 4K monitors, and the G5S offers multiple network options, including Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Gigabit Ethernet.
A pocket-sized Windows desktop with dual HDMI and Wi-Fi 6
The G5S was made for office workers, students, and others who need a small computer for everyday tasks such as web surfing, checking email, viewing documents and spreadsheets, making video calls, and streaming movies. It comes with an Intel Celeron N5095 processor, an integrated Intel UHD Graphics system, 8GB of memory, and a 128GB M.2 SSD with room to add additional storage via another M.2 SSD, plus two HDMI 2.0 output connectors, three USB 3.2 ports, an SD card slot, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, Gigabit Ethernet, and a 3.5mm audio jack, and everything is powered from a USB-C input connector.
The quad-core processor in the GMKtec G5S delivers enough power for everything you normally do on a standard desktop computer. It easily handles web browsing, video calling, and document creation, editing, and spreadsheets. The unit includes integrated Intel UHD Graphics, so you can watch your favorite 4K content directly on your television. Because the unit is so small, you can place it behind your TV or mount it out of sight and still access its full capabilities with a wireless keyboard and mouse.
The G5S offers two HDMI 2.0 connectors, letting you use two separate 4K screens simultaneously. This provides ample space to set up your workspace. For example, you could watch a video call on one screen and take notes on the second screen.
The 128GB M.2 2242 SSD allows for quick boots and app launches, but you can replace it with a larger M.2 2242 SSD once you’ve accumulated more files, photos, and videos than the current SSD can hold. You can also transfer photos from a digital camera using the built-in SD card slot.
This mini PC offers wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 for faster, more reliable connections to the internet and peripherals like mice, keyboards, and headsets. Wired connectivity is provided via Gigabit Ethernet if you need a stable, strong connection. The mini PC also includes three USB 3.2 ports, so you can plug in additional hardware, such as a webcam, to use with the device. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack, so you can hook up your favorite headset or speakers.
The GMKtec G5S has an internal cooling fan and a copper heat pipe that help keep it quiet and cool. So you can keep the G5S quiet under your monitor or on your desk. The GMKtec G5S Mini PC offers a reliable daily computing experience, supports two 4K monitors, and includes plenty of connectivity options, all in a compact size.
