Gorgeous Stop-Motion Video Adds a New Dimension to Papercraft

Who says you need a big budget to create awesome movies? Animation Intern Steven Briand created this clever stop-motion video, titled Proteigon, during his two-month tenure at Partizan with little more than a camera, some paper, and an excellent understanding of geometry.

What I love about this video isn't the papercraft as much as the way his arm movements are timed to the music and are directed just so to give them a sense of power and the whole video a sense of depth of field.
