It's an entry in the GE ecomagination Challenge (in the Connect Power: Grid Efficiency category), where GE and its venture capital partners have made a $200 million commitment to invest in the best ideas to develop and deploy digital energy technologies.

User-friendly, energy management system that utilizes GPS technology to enable drivers to plan their commutes, manage their battery pack and utilize unused electricity from their plug-in vehicles to power the grid. Consumers will derive economic benefit by powering the grid during peak times, shifting charging to off-peak hours.
