A fellow in Queens, NY took out a Craigslist ad looking for a “listener.” We’d like to think the want ad that follows is a fake — but we’re prepared for the very real possibility that it isn’t.
What gets me isn’t what he’s asking for — someone to “sit in my living room and listen to the conspiracy theories and outer space visitor stories” — it’s the perfectly reasoned manner in which he asks for what he needs. It’s not gonna take all day and you’ll get paid to sit there, so long as you’re not allergic to cats.
