AT&T might be done teasing us with their fake '4G'. Well, hopefully. Today, AT&T unveiled their first two 4G LTE products: the Momentum 4G and Elevate 4G. It's the real LTE, super fast, blazing speed 4G we want.

The sad thing is that neither of AT&T's first two LTE devices are phones (which is probably a blessing, since the coverage won't be that great anyway). The Momentum 4G is a laptop card and the Elevate 4G is a mobile hotspot. Both devices will tap into AT&T's 4G LTE network, which is 3 times as fast as their current fake-4G and 10 times faster than their 3G. The Momentum will run for $50 and the Elevate will cost $70. Both require two year contracts (no word on what the monthly fees are though). [AT&T via CNET]

But will the 4G connection be unlimited? I see them going the way of Sprint and having similar caps to the 3, 5 and 10GB allowances on 3G, but it needs that unlimited 4G to be worth anything. I easily consume a few gigabytes a week through 4G on my Sprint Overdrive Pro.
