This week, Uber CEO Travis Kalanick dropped out of President Trump’s business advisory council after an online movement to boycott the company. But not Elon Musk. The Tesla and SpaceX founder says that people need to give Trump a chance. Musk insists that he can change things from the inside. And new photos reveal just how serious Musk is about giving Trump an earful.
You see that photo above? That’s Musk, helping to promote a society of inclusion and respect for scientific advancement on topics like climate change. He’s really tearing Trump a new one over the 100,000 people who have so far been denied visas and all the hateful rhetoric and lies that spew from the White House every single day.
Not convinced? How about the photo below, where Musk is talking to a clearly very engaged Steve Bannon? One can only imagine how hard Musk is being on Bannon, the architect of Trump’s hateful agenda and a man who has previously said that he wants to destroy the established order.
You can tell that Bannon is quaking in his jackboots. Absolutely devastating.
A more cynical person might see Musk’s collaboration with the Trump regime as little more than a bid to curry favor with the federal government. Musk’s companies, such as SpaceX, have very lucrative contracts with the feds.
But we all know that Musk would never do something purely for selfish financial reasons. He became a billionaire through altruism and simply telling it likes he sees it. The reported $5 billion in government subsidies that Musk’s companies rely upon would have nothing to do with any of it.
Hey look! Another photo of Musk telling Bannon what’s what. It’s definitely not the photo of a man’s soul leaving his body as he willfully cooperates with evil to advance his own goals.
And besides, it’s not like the Trump regime is already vowing to punish companies for not kissing Donald’s ass. Right?
“If you want to cut off your access to the White House, fuck you,” one member of Trump’s inner circle reportedly told Axios today.
Oh.
Well, let us know how today’s meeting went, Mr. Musk. President Trump is known for being really good at taking advice, so I’m sure everything went swimmingly.
