Been confused as to how the apes seen at the end of Rise of the Planet of Apes have managed to decimate the human race before the beginning of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes? Wonder no longer, as this short featurette focuses on the real killer — the Simian Flu.
I wonder is this is actually a short prologue that’s going to be played at the beginning of Dawn, perhaps over the opening credits, to explain to audiences why human civilization has more or less fallen since Rise. I mean, it’s pretty compelling — well, all but that one shot of Safari somehow failing to connect to the internet. Guys, I’m pretty sure that happens all the time with or without the Simian Flu, okay?
