This week in the world of cartoons, the How to Train Your Dragon spin-off Defenders of Berk returned, and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. learn Sunday that miniature golf is not a very safe hobby.
As always - minor spoilers ahead!
Adventure Time - "The Vault"
Where do you put away your deepest thoughts? Maybe it's the same place Finn keeps his: The Vault. Enjoy this week's journey into the mind of Finn.
Regular Show - "Every Meat Burrito"
Mordecai, Rigs, and friends want to dine on burritos containing every type of meat imaginable, but they need to trade their golf cart for a proper car first. This episode is a suitable companion to last week's episode of Adventure Time.
Beware the Batman - "Control"
The quest to secure the Ion Cortex continues this week, with the mind-controlling villain Cyber standing in Batman's path. Katana goes on a date too.
Legend of Korra - "Civil Wars, Part 1"
The second of week of season two kicks off skirmishes between the Northern and Southern water tribes. This clip gives a look at family life in the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe.
Super Pets - "The League of Just Us"
Another Super Pets short airs this week during the DC Nation block. Bruce Wayne is a spotted calf. I think. I can confirm that Wonder Woman is a kangaroo in Earth-Super Pets.
Dragons: Defenders of Berk - "Live and Let Fly (Flight Club)"
The spectacular How to Train Your Dragon spin-off returns this week for its second season. Alvin is planning to wage war on Berk, so Hiccup begins instructing the citizens in hopes of defending Berk. Based on the title, expect the obligatory Fight Club reference.
Check your DVR on this one, as the series title has slightly changed.
Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. – "Incredible Shrinking Hulks"
The Leader battles the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. this week, but only after he has shrunken the agents and set them loose on a miniature golf course. Look out for an Ant-Man guest appearance.
Avengers Assemble – "Doomstroyer"
Yep, that is the correct spelling. Thor and Loki make an awkward pair as they team up to stop Dr. Doom, who has recently updated his accessories with a full set of Destroyer armor.
