Kim Jong Un invented time travel, cured cancer, cloned a wooly mammoth, and became the first male human to give birth, which is exactly why he’s Time’s 2012 man of the year. Wait, that’s the North Korean version of the story. In reality, 4Chan just manipulated the vote.
4Chan hacked the vote and manipulated it to read KJU GAS CHAMBERS, which is of course a totally classy Hitler reference. It’s not the first time the group has hijacked the vote either—in 2009, they made sure the honor went to Christopher Poole, a.k.a. moot. But manipulated or not, you have to admit that Kim Jong Un as Person of the Year is pretty damn hilarious.
