Back to the Future is one of those series I buy on every medium. I had the VHS, the DVD Box set and then the Blu-ray box set. We’re now coming up on the 30th anniversary and I might have to dip in again, because Universal just announced three special anniversary Blu-ray sets with a ton of bells and whistles.

Available on both Blu-ray and DVD, the first set is the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy. It includes “all three movies plus a new bonus disc with more two hours of content.” Then there’s Back to the Future: The Complete Animated Series, on DVD for first film. It features “all 26 episodes from the award-winning series.” Finally, the big one: Back to the Future: The Complete Adventures. This set has “all three movies, the complete animated series, a new bonus disc, a 64-page book and collectible light-up Flux Capacitor packaging. Featuring more than two hours of content, the bonus disc will include all-new original shorts, documentaries, two episodes from the animated series and more.”

Wow, that’s heavy. Here the box art as well as an image of the Complete Adventures all laid out.

Visit the below link for more specifics on each release. They’ll all hit shelves on the exact day Doc and Marty arrived in our present, October 21, 2015.
