AMD ran a full page ad asking Intel to bring it and throw down its dual-core speed benchmarks. The result? Intel said “No way. You’re dumb” and went home. This kind of posturing, while common among monkeys and cheerleading squads, is wonderful to see among the high and mighty in the chip world. Quite clearly AMD is cleaning the floor in dual core right now and Intel knows it. Intel is going to go back to it’s dual core dojo and do more kata until it’s ready to fight.
