If we were to rank the best tablets of the year, iPads would easily take a couple of spots on that list. These aren’t the most affordable, though, so picking one up can feel like a big hit to your wallet. If you’ve been wanting to grab one, Amazon has a deal worth checking out.
The Apple iPad mini A17 Pro (128GB, Wi-Fi) is now available for $499, down from $599. That’s after an impressive $100 discount that applies to all four colors, including Starlight, Blue, Purple, and Space Gray. If you’d like to stay connected when Wi-Fi isn’t available, the Cellular version of the iPad mini is also discounted, now sitting at $649 (originally $749). Note that these offers are marked as limited-time deals on Amazon, so they won’t last long. It’s recommended to grab them sooner rather than later if you don’t want to miss out on the offer.
Full iPad experience in a compact build
Don’t let the name here fool you. This iPad mini offers the full iPad experience in a super portable design that’s really easy to carry around. It comes with a stunning 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display with advanced technologies like P3 wide color, True Tone, and ultralow reflectivity. All these work together to make content appear vibrant and text look sharper, so you’ll enjoy everything from streaming to browsing, reading, scrolling through social media, and even gaming.
Performance holds up well, too. The A17 Pro chip offers incredible efficiency and ultrafast graphics, so it can handle both regular and demanding tasks well. You also won’t have too much trouble multitasking with a bunch of apps open at once! And because the battery can easily last a full day, this thing is reliable enough to get you through those long hours at the office or school without constantly hunting for an outlet.
Another feature that deserves a mention is Touch ID, which lets you securely unlock your device, sign in to apps, and make payments with your fingerprint – no need to type passwords every single time.
You’ll get the best experience when you pair your tablet with an Apple Pencil, especially if you’re planning to use it mainly for taking notes or creative tasks. It’s sold separately, but there’s a good chance you can find it discounted during the Prime Day sale! The iPad mini A17 Pro is now down to $499 at Amazon, thanks to a 17% discount. It usually goes for $599, so you’re saving $100 on your purchase with this offer.
