JailbreakMe 2.0, a mobile Safari-based jailbreak app for iPhones and iPads, has just gone live and pretty much opens up any iOS device you have handy, all the way back to the iPhone 3G.

As a browser-based app, all you need to do is direct your device to the Jailbreak Me website at http://jailbreakme.com (currently very busy) and successfully load the page.

For anyone who cares, I just checked out the source and it uses a PDF stack overflow exploit of some kind inside of an iframe. Some of their JS is obfuscated pretty well, so I can't be certain how they actually use the bug to their advantage though.

But keep in mind that running these on your computer may screw things up, or at least very likely crash your browser at the least.
