iPod Box Robot

I’m not really sure whether to feel sorry for Make Blogger Phil Torrone or jealous of him. This is a robot he built only out of parts from glue, paint and the packaging from an iPod. At first I feel sorry for him because he manages to make this robot in only 30-ish steps and it doesn t look that extraordinary. But then I’m also jealous because he is creating many different types of robots out of the 50 iPod boxes that he has. It looks like some African totem Deep Thought from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, could be a good conversation piece, is environmentally sound, and squeezes the most of your iPod. But it does appear to be pretty complicated to build, require some handiness with tools—and creativity.
