On the back of last night’s Leica M launch, company owner Dr. Andreas Kaufmann revealed that he is to work with Ive on a limited edition of the camera. In fact, it’s going to be so limited that only one unit will ever be produced.

The single camera will be auctioned off for charity. With the bog-standard Leica M expected to retail at $7,000, well-off Ive fan boys everywhere better prime their checkbooks for what could be an incredibly expensive purchase. [Peta Pixel]
