Even though comic book movie Kick-Ass didn't do so well in the theaters, the DVD sales were pretty good. So good, in fact, that the graphic novel's writer, Mark Millar, says the next movie has been greenlit.
While we're pumped for another awesome Kick-Ass film, we're urging everyone to take Millar's word with a giant grain of salt. An AICN commenter heard Millar on the radio claiming that Kick-Ass 2, the movie, was good to go.
Been listening to Mark Millar on Radio 5 in the UK who says that because of the fantastic number of DVD sales of Kick Ass that Kick Ass 2 has been greenlit and will go ahead and be based on Millar's follow up comic.
So does this mean we'll get an on screen villain called "The Cunts"? Perhaps, but we're not holding our breath just yet.
