Kids perform a 90-second version of “A Wrinkle in Time”

Author James Kennedy and the New York Public Library are sponsoring a series featuring 90-second video versions of books that won the Newbery Award for best YA lit. Here’s one for Madeleine L’Engle’s trippy multiverse adventure A Wrinkle In Time.

This is awesome. I love when Calvin O’Keefe says, “I’m popular – but sensitive.” Kennedy writes in to say:

Anyone can enter. There will be a “90-Second Newbery” Film Festival screening at the New York Public Library in the autumn of 2011.
