LEGO Isn’t Waiting for Black Friday on Its 2026 City Advent Calendar, Amazon Already Sells It Below List Price

More than 30,000 of them were bought on Amazon in the past month, and December is still about eight weeks away. Parents who plan ahead have clearly started, and the price now gives the rest a reason to join them: the LEGO City Advent Calendar 2026 goes from $34.99 to $25 on Amazon, a 29% drop. This is set 60510, the City edition of LEGO’s yearly calendar, with 24 windows to open and a Santa’s Workshop theme.

Santa, Three Elves and a Baby Reindeer

The cast is the main attraction for a five-year-old. Six minifigures are spread across the 24 days: Santa, Mrs. Claus, three elves and a snowman, joined by a baby reindeer figure that is not counted among the six. The other windows hold mini builds and small seasonal accessories, for a total of 252 pieces. Divide that by 24 and you get about ten pieces a day, so nobody should expect a large model behind any single window, and I think that is the right size for the job: a build that takes five minutes fits between breakfast and the school run.

LEGO has dealt with the instructions in a way I like. Each mini build has its guide printed on the inside of its own window, so there is no booklet to lose by December 4 and a child who is new to LEGO can follow along without help. The set is rated for ages 5 and up, and LEGO presents it as suitable for first-time builders.

The box has a second use once it is open. It folds out into a playmat printed as Santa’s Workshop, which gives the daily builds and figures somewhere to stand as the collection grows through the month. By the last week the whole cast is standing on the mat, Santa and the snowman included, and the calendar has turned into a small play set that can stay on a shelf until the tree comes down.

Everything in the calendar is standard LEGO, so the figures and builds work with other LEGO City sets, which are sold separately. That matters after the holidays, when a paper calendar goes in the recycling and this one goes into the brick bin: the minifigures will end up mixed in with whatever City sets are already in the house. At roughly a dollar per window, I’d say the price is fair even before counting that second life.

There is a single version to choose from: the LEGO City Advent Calendar 2026 (60510) is $25 instead of $34.99 on Amazon, with free returns. Amazon also gives the listing its Overall Pick label.
