Star Wars fans are truly some of the easiest people to buy gifts for. Not only are there constant new editions of films and TV shows to check out, but you’ve also got a vast library of games, books, and all sorts of other things to buy as well. It makes birthdays and gifts in general a lot easier to manage, but one of the best is always going to be a good Lego set. There are a bunch of them out there, but if you want something really cool, you’ll want to get in on this deal.
Lego sets get discounts here and there, but they tend to be quite fleeting. It means that when you see one on a set you like, you’re nearly always best off checking it out and having a good think about it. Today, that means you could be picking up the impressive Lego Star Wars Dark Falcon Set, which is down to $152 for a limited-time thanks to a discount.
Space, But Edgier
Let’s get this out of the way: this set contains the most fearsome Minifigure in all of Lego history, the mighty and horrifying Darth Jar Jar. That’s right, the annoying little dude is evil in this one, and actually, so are a bunch of other characters including Darth Rey and Darth Dev. C-3PO is also a bounty hunter for some reason, and Luke is on a beach. Look, Star Wars lore is weird, and this is from a special Disney+ episode that flips everything upside down to keep things fun.
The set itself, outside of those models, contains a whopping 1,579 bricks that come together to make for a really cool model of a dark Millennium Falcon, and it even has things like working turrets. Well, they can fire things, but those things are almost definitely not lasers. You can also open it up with ease, allowing you to play around on the inside, making it an amazing space for all sorts of space battles or anything else.
This is an incredibly cool set that’s fairly unique in what it’s doing. The final model is pretty impressive, it has some fun Minifigures, and it’s one from a niche Star Wars special that’s sure to delight the die-hard fan in your life. The only problem with the whole thing is that the price isn’t likely to last for very long. So, if you do want to pick this up while it’s on sale for $152, we do recommend being pretty quick on the draw.
