Remember the Lenovo X1? Well the X1 Hybrid is pretty much the same machine, but slightly refreshed with a new, low power instant-on mode that doubles the battery life as you surf the web and watch/listen/look at all your mulitmedia files.

The battery-friendly Instant Media Mode makes use of a low-power Qualcomm dual-core processor, and the X1 hybrid is capable of recharging itself to 80% in under 30 minutes. Other than that, it still has the same Core i7 processor, the same composite shell and the same Gorilla Glass screen starting for $1600. [Lenovo]
