Life360 Tile 2-Pack Is Now a Cheaper AirTag Alternative at Half the Price Per Tracker, Works With iOS and Android

You can press the button on the tracker to ring your phone, even with the ringer off.

The Life360 Tile Bluetooth Tracker clips onto the items you lose most often, and opening the app on your smartphone shows you where it is. If your Tile is integrated into an existing Life360 account, all this information combines into the same app you already use to track your family members. Ring the Tile from the app if it’s somewhere in your home, or press the button on the Tile itself to make your phone ring, which works even when the phone is silenced. Bluetooth signal strength reaches about 250 feet, which covers a house and most yards.

Head over to Amazon to get the Life360 Tile Bluetooth Tracker for just $30, down from its usual price of $45. That’s a $15 discount and 33% off.

A Bluetooth tracker that works on iPhone and Android

Once an item travels beyond that Bluetooth distance, the community find network comes into play. Any time another Tile or Life360 user’s phone passes near your Tile, it anonymously reports that location back to you. So if you left a bag in a taxi in another part of town, it may still show up on your map. That’s what differentiates a tracker from a beeper. Without the community find network, you could lose an item outside of Bluetooth range and never locate it again.

The Tile also provides two-way tracking, so when you press the button to track your lost phone, it rings even if the phone is in silent mode. So, finding a phone that slipped between couch cushions can take less than a minute, instead of spending ten minutes searching by feeling every cushion and crevice.

When you integrate Tile with the Life360 app, you can view family members’ locations and your personal items in one place. You no longer need to open two different apps to get updates on where everyone and everything is at any given time.

A non-replaceable cell powers each device and should provide at least three years of power. Since you never need to replace the batteries, you can attach the device once and forget about it. Compare that to lower-cost alternatives, where you would likely replace batteries multiple times over the same period.

Water resistance is another Tile benefit. While the Tile can’t be submerged for long periods, it should work fine if you get caught in a downpour or drop some keys in a puddle. The hole at one end is big enough to run your standard keyring through, and you can track it immediately without needing an adhesive pad or a separate keychain. It works with either type of phone, Apple or Android, which sets the Tile apart from other Bluetooth trackers locked to one platform and useless once you switch.
