Logitech’s Z906’s Don’t Look too Dorky for the Living Room

One of the problems with computer speakers is that they often look like computer speakers. Awkward. Unattractive. Dorky. Something better confined to an office or “the computer room.” Not sexy chunks of AV gear. Logitech’s $400 Z906 5.1 speaker set, successor to the popular Z-5500s, improves on this.

Spec-wise? Pretty much identical—THX certified, Dolby 5.1 decoding, 500 watts. But the new system looks dashing and serious enough to place alongside your TV and receiver, which is a superficial, though not trivial improvement. [Logitech]
