While die-hards gear up for the Season 4 premiere this weekend, Jeffrey Stephenson gets working on a sweet reimagination of the PC that would fit right in at any mid-century office or living room.
Warning, the computer concept isn't complete yet, but it's too cool not to take a peek at. Stephenson aimed to resolve the question "What if IBM had invented the PC twenty years earlier?" for design site Core77, and has previously conquered Machine Age, Art Deco, and Mission-style PC concepts. Both this and his past projects are fully functional computers.
Stephenson drew inspiration from a Danish desk circa 1964 that he discovered on eBay, and you can see the design similarities between the two. We'll update you when a finished model is available for viewing. [Core77]
