Have a SIM card that, for some reason (the iPad), you'd like to chop down to MicroSIM form? It's possible, just follow this handy tutorial. (You pretty much just cut the casing very carefully, keeping contacts intact.) [JohnBenson via DVICE]
Interesting picture. This would imply that the outter edges (the gold parts) of the SIM aren't really part of the functional piece.
Also the story keeps saying things like " line up the contacts from the micro SIM with the regular SIM". If I had a micro SIM why would I need to cut down the regular one?
