If you had any doubts that the creators of Glee and Nip/Tuck could handle full-blown OMG-look-behind-you horror, then the opening five minutes of American Horror Story should dispel all doubts. There are creepy warnings, animal carcasses, strange things in jars… and then a horrific payoff, all within the opening scenes.
