After both the US and Europe sold out of Xbox 360s faster than Ken Kutaragi can say ohayo gozaimasu, Japan's gaming community seemed less than excited about the newly released, next-generation gaming console. According to the Japanese gaming mag Famitsu, less than half of the almost 160,000 consoles were actually sold in stores on the first weekend. And the price there is only $331, compared to the $400 in the US. Looks like the delay of Dead or Alive 4 was the main culprit for these lacklustre sales, though it should be out by Dec 29. Obviously, Ridge Racer 6 didn't quite cut the wasabi as a 360 release game.
