New “Dark Knight Rises” cast member hints at the movie’s possible villain

Josh Pence, who played one half of the Winklevosses in The Social Network (his face was digitally replaced by Arnie Hammer’s) has just been cast in Chris Nolan’s Dark Knight Rises. This hints at a lot of Batman spoilers.

According to THR Pence has been cast as a young Ra’s Al Ghul, who was played by Liam Neeson in Batman Begins. Sources tell the trade that Pence will appear in scenes that will take place 30 years before the first film.

This seems to support the long running bat-rumor that Talia Al Ghul will also be in the new Bat picture. In fact, many people believe that the recent casting of Marion Cotillard was for the Talia role. So it would make sense that if Nolan was going to dig up a plot from his original film, he might as well sex it up with the woman who eventually had Batman’s baby! There is still no word if Neeson will reprise the role of Ra’s, but fingers crossed. This could be a great way to bookend the Nolan trilogy.
