There’s a bunch of crazy new rumors about the Justice League’s role in Batman v Superman. James Gunn has nothing but praise for Marvel’s new Spider-Man. We might have a release window for Daredevil season two. Plus, sneak peeks at the return of Walking Dead and Teen Wolf. Spoilers Get!

Star Wars Episode VIII

/Film have managed to get their hands on the script of The Force Awakens, released to members of the Writers Guild of America for award consideration—and it offers some intriguing small tidbits about the final scene of the film, where Rey encounters the legendary Jedi Master Luke Skywalker for the first time. According to the script, the planet Luke has been hiding on for years is called “Ahch-To”, and is described as having a “pristine and mighty OCEAN” with “endless BLUE, dotted with random, beautiful, mountainous BLACK ROCK ISLANDS, dotted with countless GREEN TREES.” Although the planet has not featured in Star Wars lore before, the site also points out that “Ahch” is the hebrew word for “Brother.”

The other insight is that when Luke turns around and sees Rey for the first time, the Jedi is meant to have instantly recognized who she is and why she was there, implying that Luke already had some semblance of history with Rey (which would make sense, if she was one of his potential Padawans in the New Jedi Order before Ben Solo fell to the Dark Side). There’s also an implication that Luke thinks Rey’s presence on Ahch-to could be a bad thing, in the final line of the script:

HOLD ON LUKE SKYWALKER’S INCREDIBLE FACE, amazed and conflicted at what he sees, as our MUSIC BUILDS, the promise of an adventure, just beginning…

Batman v Superman

Get your salt shakers primed and ready, because a Reddit user claiming to have seen an early screener of the film has posted their review to the popular forum, hailing the film as a massive success and claiming some interesting tidbits about the plot.

This user claims that Scoot McNairy is playing an amputee Jimmy Olsen, and that Jena Malone is indeed playing a Batgirl—but Barbara Gordon, rather than the just as often-rumored Carrie Kelley and many more long rumored details, but the most interesting claim is that the Justice League plays a major role in the third act of the film. Allegedly, a network of drones designed by LexCorp to defend the Earth from alien threats (like Superman) goes wild, and Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman must stop it... with the sudden aid of Aquaman, Cyborg, the Flash, and even Green Lantern Hal Jordan—who also purportedly appears earlier in the film as a USAF test pilot, and is played by Dan Amboyer—who all appear in a lavish action sequence fighting the LexCorp drones before the climax of the film sees the League agreeing to come together as one whenever the Earth faces a similar danger.

The claims fly in the face of previous rumors that the other members of the League have at best minor cameos in the film throughout, or that they solely appear in an end-credits montage—but it’s also totally plausible that Warner Bros. have been screening the film for test audiences externally and internally in recent months. For now, it’s perhaps to treat this all with a heaping dose of skepticism.

Indiana Jones 5

Speaking to Bloomberg News about the success of The Force Awakens, Disney CEO Bob Iger has said that the film is indeed on the way:

With George Lucas’s Star Wars — and Indiana Jones, by the way, which will be coming, we have more great stories.

Captain America: Civil War

In an extensive series of fan Q&A videos posted to his

, James Gunn has revealed that he has seen the movie, praising it as one of Marvel’s best—and has plenty of praise for Tom Holland’s young Spider-Man:

I saw Civil War, and I think it’s incredible. It’s one of the best Marvel movies ever, and I can’t believe what a wonderful job the Russo Brothers did, and the cast.

...Tom Holland is off the charts awesome. Off the charts. Truly. Hand to my heart, he’s amazing.

Bourne 5

Agent Carter

Ahead of the season premiere on January 19th, ABC has released a full synopsis for the show’s second season:

“Marvel’s Agent Carter” returns for a dynamic second season of adventure and intrigue, starring Hayley Atwell in the titular role of the unstoppable Agent Peggy Carter, working for the SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve).

Dedicated to the fight against new Atomic Age threats in the wake of World War II, Agent Carter journeys from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous – and bizarre – assignment yet. East Coast SSR Chief Jack Thompson (Chad Michael Murray) sends Peggy to work with newly appointed West Coast SSR Chief Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) to explore a strange homicide involving a body that glows and emanates cold.

Upon her arrival, Peggy reunites with Howard Stark’s (Dominic Cooper) butler and her loyal partner-in-crime, Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy), who welcomes her to the Hollywood life and sets her up at Stark’s mansion. There, Peggy meets Ana (Lotte Verbeek), Jarvis’ free-spirited and devoted wife to whom she takes an immediate liking.

Eventually, the odd investigation leads Peggy to quirky yet charming scientist Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin), who quickly becomes an ally — and sparks fly. As Peggy continues to find clues in this peculiar case, she is introduced to the machinations of Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett), a movie starlet, brilliant physicist and the true power behind husband and senatorial candidate Calvin Chadwick (Currie Graham). Calvin, a politician who will do anything to get to the top, befriends Vernon Masters (Kurtwood Smith), a veteran of the War Department with a keen understanding of how to work the system. Peggy soon discovers that corruption seemingly runs deep, making it hard to distinguish the good versus the bad.

The search comes full circle when Russian spy Dottie Underwood (Bridget Regan) returns into Peggy’s life in a new and unexpected way. But even as Peggy discovers a new city, both old and new friends – and potentially a new love – she’s about to learn the bright lights of post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.

12 Monkeys

Terry Matalas teases what’s ahead for Jennifer Goines in the second season:

It’s not really regressed memories. She’s a tortured, tortured person who has had a lot of really bad things happened to her. But we learn a lot more about Jennifer. Last season, we kind of hinted. If you were watching closely, she kind of knew things she shouldn’t have known. She kind of knew who people were. She would say things like, “Green to red,” which we knew was happening. It seems like she’s connected to the changes in time in some way. And maybe that’s part of where her craziness comes from. Jennifer’s a really important character this season. She’s fun to write.

The Walking Dead

Here’s a new promo for the show’s midseason return, with some teeny snifters of new footage.

Teen Wolf

Here’s a new sneak peek at the second half of season five.

And finally, here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how the show re-imagined itself in a Victorian setting for tonight’s winter special, “The Abominable Bride”.
