No More Shuffle? Tears Are Falling

It’s just a rumor, but we hear that the iPod Shuffle could be killed off because of the success of big brother nano. Not so hard to believe, considering the lack of screen on the little guy and the fact that it’s still not as slim as the newer product. The only thing keeping it on the shelves seems to be the price, which could be taken care nicely of with a lower-capacity Nano. According to Ben Reitzes, financial analyst for UBS Investment Research, the silver bullet on that capacity would be 1GB. Reitzes also thinks we’ll see the next-gen Intel-powered iBook by April.
