Nokia has announced three new phones, none of which are going to blow you folks away, but with some decent features nonetheless. THe Nokia 6230i is an update to the candybar phone of the same designation, with a “high-resolution” 208 by 208 pixel screen (it helps to hold it right up to your eye). The upgrade is in the camera, which is now a 1.3-megapixel job, storing photos to MMC card, which also can hold MP3 and AAC files. Push-to-talk is standard, as well.
More on the Nokia 6021 and Nokia 6030 after the jump.
The Nokia 6021 is a simple push-to-talk candybar with Bluetooth. Pictures of this model had been leaked in the fall of last year, so it’s neither notable nor new. But it’s cheap, and that’s something.
Lastly, the Nokia 6030 has almost nothing to recommend it beyond its small form-factor—it reminds me a lot of the old Nokia 3390 Gold AIM phone that we all got for free a few years back.
All three of these phones are Europe-only, so this is all somewhat academic for most of us.
