The next Nokia concept, the Aki, is a wristband design that uses “programmed” self-expression to remember certain specific moves or postures. It then attaches those vogue moves to your cellphone to cue certain actions. An example:
shaking your arms could be attached to your mood of hanging out with your buddies, that could essentially trigger a stored SMS with party venues around, to be sent to your circle of friends via E-mail.
Ummm, ok. In old cowboy movies this “talking without speaking” concept is called smoke signals. Marcel Marceau calls it mime. Gizmodo calls it dorky.
