Wow. That's misleading. I'm disappointed in this post from someone who is generally top notch.

I hope everyone clicks through the link to get the real story about how their OS evolutions for Symbian will be seamless because of the use of the QT platform. For all the Android OS users that are frustrated that they don't get updates from old versions and the inability to use the best apps because they don't have 2.2 should applaud this kind of statement. (Yes, you, Motorola customers). You should all be saying, 'Why can't Android phones be more like Nokia's implementation of Symbian!?'

I don't have the skills to assess QT as a development platform, but the idea of one system to design for every 'smartphone' OS should be good for everyone.
