HTC's newly-revamped One is a flagship phone with some nice updates to its already sleek design. It's also a brainy barnstormer with some crazy cool camera tech that could be the future of mobile photography. It's available now for $200 on-contract from AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon (sorry T-Mobile, yours won't arrive til April). Or you could go all-out with the unlocked Google Play Edition for $700.
Got mine today - phone itself feels nice and all that. Biggest irritation so far is that verizon put even MORE bloat into this one than the last one. Verizon Messenger has hijacked my texts, and it's really starting to irritate the crap out of me.
Dot cover is actually kinda neat, and the ability to start a voice call via voice command without opening/unlocking is nice too.
The texting thing isnt a big deal, the verizon app is actually nice - I just don't like the fact that it pretty much forced me to use it by prompting me every bloody time I opened the messages app...and there's no way to uninstall the stupid thing.
