A test screening for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim has led to a flurry of positive tweets, specifically from Looper’s Rian Johnson who told folks to, “Go into Pacific Rim prepared to be transmogrified into a 12 year old. And then to pee your pants with joy. I love it so much.” Also, one IMDB reviewer called it “probably the best summer monster movie I’ve seen.”
To celebrate the good buzz, Warner Bros. has released these brand new images, including one showcasing Charlie Day in his best “cool scientist” costume.
Pacific Rim will open in theaters on July 12th.
