A lot of our computer accessories don’t get the attention they deserve. Mice – especially – are mostly an afterthought for most of us, even though navigating your computer would be a pain without one. If yours needs an upgrade and you don’t want to spend a lot of money on a new mouse, Amazon is currently offering the Philips ergonomic wireless mouse at a 20% discount.

It’s currently available for $40, down from $50. This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen for it, but the offer could end soon. Snap yours up quickly before Amazon pushes the price back up.

Comfortable to use

You’re going to rest your hand on the mouse for pretty much as long as you’re using your computer. This is why you need something that’s comfortable to hold, click, and drag. The Philips ergonomic mouse features a contoured right-handed shell and an anti-slip thumb rest, both of which support wider grips and reduce wrist tension as you work or play.

This mouse comes with two wheels; a main wheel and a thumb-side horizontal scroll wheel to make scrolling effortless. Clicking isn’t too noisy either, thanks to the noise-reduced switches that keep things peaceful. This is something you’ll greatly appreciate if you often work in shared spaces and don’t want that extra noise to disturb others around you! What’s more, the Philips software lets you map custom macros to the forward, backward, and middle buttons. It gives you quicker access to actions and much better efficiency on a day-to-day basis.

As for performance, the advanced optical sensor offers a 5-level adjustable DPI (800 to 4000). You can hop between levels depending on what you’re doing. For example, choose a higher level when you want your cursor to move super fast, and drop it down for tasks that need a bit more precision! Battery won’t really be a concern either. The 500mAh battery can last up to 25 days with the smart auto-sleep mode. That’s about 8 per day for almost a month. And if you’re running out of charge in the middle of something important, a quick five-minute top-up can get you one more hour of usage to keep you going.

The box includes one Philips SPK7858 mouse, one USB-A/C receiver, and a cable. You can now grab it for $40 at Amazon, instead of paying the full $50. It’s back down to its lowest price ever, but the deal won’t stick around for long. Hurry, before it’s too late!
